Open Meet Results

We've had performances to be proud of over the past couple of weekends. Swimmers young and old have been showing off their efforts in the training pool, bringing PBs, medals, qualifying times, club records and even "best visiting club" trophies!

Hereford - 18th-19th Nov

A great first opener for the season, swimmers enjoyed a small, friendly meet against teams from the West Midlands. PBs and medals all round, plus lots of County and Regional qualifying times too! Congrats to Victor, Malachy, George and Ethan who each recieved trophies for Top Boy in their age groups.

Overall we had:

• 113 PBs from 170 swims
• 22 new County times
• 25 new Regional times
• and 9 new club records!!
• Ethan Hay (100 Free, 200 Free, 50 Fly, 100 Fly)
• Emma Wiggins (400 Free)
• David Burch (50 Back, 100 Back, 200 Back)
• George Harris (200 IM)

And to top it all off, Phoenix won the cup for Top Visiting Club! Well done swimmers!

Evesham LC - 25th Nov

Another fun, friendly meet held at the brand new Alan Higgs 50m pool, this open meet gave younger swimmers their first taste of long course racing. Not only did we show off our skills in the pool, but on poolside too with a whole-team (minus some snoozing seniors!) macarena! Lots of team spirit and smiles all round proves that happy swimmers are fast swimmers as PBs were smashed and we won yet another trophy for Top Visiting Club!

We are especially pleased with the way even the youngest members of the team conducted themselves, representing the club well!
